Quote by Beth Moore: “What heartbreak we must bring to God when we continue to disbelieve His love. What more could He have said? What more could He have done? Believe even when you do not feel. Know even when you do not see. He gave the life of His Son to demonstrate His love. The time has come to believe.”

I John 4:8 God is love.

I John 2:23 …the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

James 4:4 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the Lord longs (emphasis mine) to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

I Corinthians 2:9 “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Romans 8:15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

(note to previous verse: “Abba” is Aramaic for “Father” and is expressive of an especially close relationship to God. A more basic term would be literally, “DADDY”. An adopted son has all of the privileges of a natural son, including inheritance rights. Christians are adopted sons (and daughters) by grace.)

Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?

Psalm 143:8 Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.

(note: God is the only One who is never overwhelmed by the depth or length of our need.)

Psalm 103:8-14 The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear (revere) Him, As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on His children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear (revere) Him. For He Himself knows our frame (i.e. what we are made of); He is mindful that we are but dust.

(note: I love those verses above – it makes me happy that God is mindful that we are but dust. :o) It also gives me great joy that He has removed our transgressions so far away from us – and He isn’t keeping score of how many times we’ve failed. He is compassionate and loving towards us.)

Psalm 86:10-11 …You alone are God. Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth…

Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day…

Psalm 94:11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are a mere breath.

Psalm 94:19 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.

Psalm 107:9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.

Psalm 119:66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.

Psalm 119:94 I am Yours, save me.

Psalm 121:3 He who keeps you will not slumber.

Psalm 139:1-6 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You know it all. You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

Psalm 139:7-12 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
Even the darkness is not dark to You,
And the night is as bright as the day
Darkness and light are alike to You.

Psalm 139:17-18 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

I John 4:18-19 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.

I John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be propitiation for our sins. (Propitiation refers to the turning away of God’s wrath. It literally means satisfied or appeased. Jesus did that for us!)

Romans 8:7 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

I John 2:15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

quote by Beth Moore: “Place your ear against the chest of the Savior so that, when troubled times come, you may not know what will befall you, but you can hear the steady pulse of the boundless love of Him who holds you.

Joel 2:13 Rend your heart and not your garments.

Isaiah 30:21 Whether I turn to the right or to the left, my ears will hear a voice behind me saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Personal note:

I see God’s hand in so much throughout my daily life. It is no longer “coincidence” to me when something happens, because it happens far too often. I’ll study certain passages during the week only to find our pastor preaching from them on Sunday morning or evening. A certain song is on my heart all week and then someone sings it at church (this happened last Sunday evening in fact, and I got Holy Spirit goose bumps! :o) ). It can also be something small and seemingly insignificant like – I will start to drop something and suddenly catch it at the last minute…..and I know it is Him. Small things that encourage me so much, make me feel His love and closeness in my life. I thank Him, praise Him, and love Him all the more for caring about me – the chiefest of sinners and nothing more than glorified dust.

In Him, arksoaper
